About the GSA Graduate Student Seminar Series
Launched in January of 2026, the GSA Student Seminar Series is a student-led monthly seminar series that highlights the research conducted by graduate students at UMB. This is a valuable opportunity for students to present their research to their peers, gain additional experience with giving oral presentations, and network with fellow students.
Seminars generally occur on the third Thursday of each month. Presenting students will deliver a 10-minute research presentation, followed by 5-minute Q&A session. Following the oral presentations, each seminar concludes with a network hour with food and refreshments provided.
All virtual and in-person graduate students are encouraged to attend and participate. For those wishing to attend virtually, the zoom link can be found in reminder emails or by reaching out to your program's GSA representative.
