42nd Annual Graduate Research Conference at UMB
The GRC provides a unique and dynamic setting that facilitates the efficient exchange of information and ideas across a wide variety of scientific disciplines via oral or poster presentations. The top poster and top oral presenter for each session will be given an award, as decided by a panel of faculty and professor judges.
This year the GRC is excited to partner with the Geriatrics and Gerontology Education and Research (GGEAR) program and University of Maryland (UM) Ventures, Baltimore to offer students the opportunity to be considered for the following additional awards:
GGEAR sponsors two student awards: the GGEAR Basic Science Award and the GGEAR Applied Science Award. The research must be on the topic of aging to be considered for these awards.
UM Ventures, Baltimore, offers the Graduate Translational Research (GTR) Award. This award recognizes important translational research performed by a UMB graduate student or postdoctoral fellow, and promotes the mission of UM Ventures to translate basic research outcomes into real-world applications. The GTR Award recipient receives a $500 check and a certificate of recognition at the GRC awards reception.
