USGA Fall Formal
The USGA's Fall Formal took place last month, on Saturday, Nov. 21. The theme was Hunger Games, and the evening promised food, dancing, games, and photo booths.
By all accounts, the formal delivered. The food included crab dip, meatballs, bacon-wrapped chicken, wings, crudités and dips (the only qualm would be the lack of sweets - where's dessert when you need it?). Supposedly the formal attendees were assigned 'districts,' and a running point tally was kept based on each student's success at the various games, one of which included archery. The winner was the School of Medicine. Regardless, there was no dissent between districts on the dance floor, and the DJ played a variety of music throughout the night - including much-appreciated throwbacks to some old favorites such as Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. Possibly the most popular aspect of the night was the photo booths, complete with a variety of props and free printed pictures. Overall the night was a success, and the next USGA social event will be eagerly awaited.
