Emergency Loan Program

The GSA designed this program in 1994 to help graduate students obtain emergency loans.  Students who need emergency funds may request a loan of up to $250.  Students must repay the loan within 30 days.

To request an emergency loan:

• Download and complete the Emergency Loan Request *
• Have your GSA program representative sign the form.
• Take the form to GSA Treasurer Jade Bernstein. (Contact her at jbern002@umaryland.edu or 6-4346)  If the GSA has approved the loan, she will then give a check for requested amount.
