Forensic Medicine Outstanding Young Investigator Award Recipients:
Outstanding Young Investigator Awards were presented to the following Forensic Medicine MS students at the 6th International Conference of Evidence Law and Forensic Science (ICELFS), held in Baltimore on August 14 to 17, 2017:
Nicole DeMonte, Bincy Mariyam and Thankachan Deeksha Sridhar presented “Teenage Homicides in the State of Maryland: an Analysis of Forensic Autopsy Cases between 2006-2015”
Shi Feng, Allison Hausen, and Kendra Ireigbe presented “Evaluation of Elder Homicides in State of Maryland, 2005-2015”
Brittani Massey, William Johnson, and Mohammed Sait, presented “Deaths from Electrocution: an Evaluation of Death Scene Investigation and Autopsy Findings"
Shi Feng also received the "Best Paper Award.”
