Graduate Research Conference
The Graduate Research Conference (GRC) is hosted annually by the Graduate Student Association of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and provides students and postdoctoral fellows with the opportunity to present their research to the campus community.

The GRC creates a unique and dynamic setting that facilitates the efficient exchange of information and ideas across a wide variety of scientific disciplines via oral or poster presentations. The top poster and top oral presenter for each session will be given an award, as decided by a panel of faculty and professor judges. The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, in association with the Graduate Research Conference (GRC), is delighted to offer the tenth annual Graduate Translational Research Award. This award is in recognition of important translational research performed by a UMB graduate student or postdoctoral fellow, and embodies OTT’s mission to translate outcomes from basic research into real-world applications. The recipient of the award will receive a $500 check and a certificate of recognition at the GRC awards reception in March. A separate application is required (OTT award details). The application deadline is Thursday, February 22, 2018, midnight.
The Geriatrics and Gerontology Education and Research Program facilitates interprofessional work in the field of aging among students and professionals in the field of aging at the University of Maryland, Baltimore through sponsorship of clinical training opportunities for students as well as interprofessional research forums at UMB. Note your preference to be considered for this award on the registration form.
