Empathy to Action
Empathy to Action explores the ways that empathy can spur people to action, expose faults in the system, and lead to social innovation.
Our first speaker is Natalie Estelle, Co-Founder and President of Preemie Moms Rock. Natalie's daughter was less than two pounds when she was born and spent nine weeks in the NICU. Natalie’s experience as a NICU mom opened her eyes to the lack of support many families face during this time of extreme emotional and physical stress. To give back to other NICU parents, she created Preemie Moms Rock, an organization that provides healthy food, therapeutic crafts, and in-person parent-to-parent support to NICU moms. Join Natalie as she shares the details of her journey and the way that empathy inspired her to action.
